FMAA is managed by a committee of elected plot holders on behalf of FMPC. The committee comprises of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, 5 Member Representatives and 1 FMPC Representative.
The committee meets every 2 months. You can always contact the committee via our online form, and our WhatsApp community, which members are invited to join.
FMAA holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March. Committee members stand down at this meeting and may seek re-election alongside other proposed candidates.
Each of the member representatives represents a number of plots, as outlined below.
Officers
Chairperson: Jodi Larsen, B14

I took on my plot in 2025 and was warmly welcomed by the committee. Having had an allotment in my 20s, I am thoroughly enjoying being a plot holder once again. I grow a wide variety of produce and plan to become more adventurous in what I grow next year.
I work at Heathrow Airport as the Aerodrome Compliance Lead, ensuring that all aerodrome operations comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols. In my spare time, I love spending time at the allotment, nurturing my plants and experimenting with new methods of growing.
As a massive foodie, I enjoy trying new recipes with my homegrown produce and have taken to making cordials and chutneys. My passion for gardening and cooking allows me to explore new flavours and share delicious creations with friends and family.

Treasurer: Neil Lewin, E3

My allotment was a very unexpected surprise. I applied thinking I’d be on a waiting list for years. That would’ve fit rather nicely with my early retirement plans. But suddenly I was offered a plot in need of lots of work and TLC, alongside my then full-time job as headteacher of a large primary school in Guildford.
I survived and now virtually fully retired, I am a more frequent and conscientious plot holder.
I enjoy every minute that I can spend at the allotments – even when those minutes are spent wondering how on earth the blackfly found my beans!
In summer 2024, I took on the role of Treasurer. I take a lot of pleasure from contributing to the wider ‘lottie’ community, as well as from the biscuits at committee meetings!
Membership Secretary: Lucy Whitworth, E2

We arrived in Four Marks in 1995, only planning to stay a few years! Our 2 boys have now grown and flown and we still enjoy living in the village.
My grandmother inspired my love of flowers. Vegetables weren’t on my radar until I got my allotment in 2019 and I attended a Charles Dowding No Dig course. I have learned much in that time, but all gardeners know every day is a school day.
In March 2021, I became Membership Secretary. I enjoy meeting new members at
the beginning of their allotment journeys and seeing the pleasure it gives them.
Joining the allotment community has been a positive experience for me on so many
levels. I have met some wonderful like-minded people and shared learnings, successes
and inevitable challenges along the way too!
Away from the plot, I am a volunteer coach for the Riding for the Disabled Association, Hants and Surrey Borders, and a proud partner to my special working cocker spaniel, Tink, at mantrailing and agility sessions.

I have had my plot for well over a decade now and always look forward to spending time there. I love to cook, so being able to use my own produce is
very rewarding. To help pollinators I now grow many more flowers than in the past. The colours and scents are also great for me!
My working life has been spent in the IT industry: software engineering, technical training and, for the past 15 years, providing technical support for
small businesses.
When I’m not working or at my allotment, my spare time usually involves reading, listening to music, and visiting NT properties with my wife.
For me, spending time on my plot is the perfect contrast to the world of IT, as I can lose myself in nature. Many years ago I received a copy of Charles Dowding’s Organic Gardening. It was a revelation for me and I have been following his no-dig methods ever since. I enjoy creating healthy soil, growing and harvesting organic vegetables and, of course, keeping weeds at bay.
I have been a members’ representative on the committee for around 5 years. I like to socialise with other allotment holders, particularly new members, to share ideas and discuss any issues they may have. I also liaise with several local tree surgeons to supply woodchip for members’ use, and I organise the annual bulk compost delivery.
